The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals. PRSA is a community of more than 21,000 public relations and communications professionals across the United States, from recent college graduates to the leaders of the world’s largest multinational firms. Our members represent nearly every practice area and professional and academic setting within the public relations field. In addition, there are more than 10,000 students who are members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at colleges and universities here and abroad.
Founded in 1949 by 14 local public relations professionals, the St. Louis Chapter of PRSA is the seventh oldest continuous chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Today, more than 200 members from both sides of the Mississippi River make up the St. Louis membership. Chapter members represent business and industry, technology, counseling firms, government, associations, hospitals, schools, professional services firms and non-profit organizations. We offer our members outstanding professional development and networking opportunities with the area’s preeminent professionals.
With the vision to unify, strengthen and advance the profession of public relations, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has established itself as the pre-eminent organization that builds value, demand and global understanding for public relations.
