Rick Spiekermann, Nestle´ PURINA’s Director of Digital/Social Marketing, Content & Partnerships, leads a team focused on PURINA’s efforts in social and digital content in collaboration with brand teams. Prior to this assignment Rick worked in NPP’s brand management organization and did a stint internationally based in Sydney, Australia.
PURINA is a company of pet lovers that is guided by the belief that pets and people are better together. Rick is committed to overseeing and driving brand-focused, compelling content that celebrates pets and helps consumers live their fullest, richest pet-filled life. Over the last 4 years, he has built a multifunctional team and partner network that has proven brand/business objectives can be achieved with content. Accomplishments include pioneering relationships and industry-leading performance with Facebook, Google/You Tube, BuzzFeed, and independent content creators.
He lives in St. Louis with his wife Shelby and their rescue pets Blender, Woolloomooloo, Pinball, Chairman Meow, Monsignor PUS, Domino, and Mother Purresa. Best of all, at Purina, his pets go to work with him.
