Digital Natives push learning far beyond the walls of a classroom and the oral narrative of a traditional educator. They have a different perspective on technology than previous generations. To be compelling in formal or informal education, professionals have to understand that perspective, and develop effective strategies for communicating with digital natives.
During this four hour mini-conference, formal and informal educators will learn and practice new approaches to communicating with digital natives. Experts and exhibitors will engage participants with ideas and gadgets. Your registration fee includes convenient downtown parking and refreshments. During lunch, popular St. Louis food trucks will be available at the site. Come join us to learn and network with colleagues and people with new insights about formal and informal education.
The summit will be held on April 12, 2017 from 10 am until 2 pm at Union Station in downtown St. Louis. The registration fee for the summit is $20 and helps cover the cost of beverages and materials for the day. Parking is an additional $7 (regularly $20) and can be purchased at the door.
